I trust Mariah with everything I have. She was with me throughout my pregnancy. She was direct yet gentle with coaching me and she worked well with the hospital staff. Because of a medical condition, I had to have an emergency cesarean section. It was great to have her with me to keep me and my family calm throughout the process.

As a queer couple of color, it was very important to us to find someone with a diverse experience and background who could support our family's needs, and Mariah exceeded our expectations! She was everything I needed her to be. She assisted with meal prep, bonded with my other kids, and allowed me to just sit and bond with my newborn. Miss Mariah was not my doula but she did more than stand in the gap. As I was hesitant, and a bit skeptical, regarding my need for assistance, I didn't seriously research doulas or obtain Mariah's services until my third trimester. However, I gained so much knowledge. She helped me delve through the trauma from my son's delivery and even taught me, a licensed physician, some things I didn't know. She ensured my birth plan was honored; as a result, she, my husband, and my delivery team guided me through a beautiful vaginal delivery (VBAC)! This time, I cried tears of joy, as I was able to enjoy that “golden hour” of skin-to-skin bonding with my daughter.

If my husband gets his wish and persuades me to have a 3rd, she will be hired ASAP. I will recommend her services time and time again.
